Cookie Policy

What we store on your device, and how to control it.

Last updated: 16 October 2026

This policy explains what Sonak Media Ltd ("we", "us", "our") stores on your device when you visit sonaksystems.com or avilocus.com. AViLocus is a trading name of Sonak Media Ltd.

It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers personal data more broadly, and our Terms of Service.

We have written this policy from what our sites actually do, not from a template. If we change what we store, we will change this page.

What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files that a website asks your browser to save, so it can recognise your device on a later visit.

Websites can also use similar technologies that store information on your device without being cookies. The most common is local storage, which keeps a small amount of data in your browser. The rules that apply to cookies in the UK apply to local storage in the same way, so we treat both the same here and describe both below.

Cookies We Set

We do not set any cookies on sonaksystems.com or avilocus.com.

Both sites are published as static pages. We do not run advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or cookie-based analytics on either of them, and we do not share information about your visit with advertising networks.

What We Do Store on Your Device

We store one thing, and only when you ask for it. If you switch a site between light and dark appearance, we remember your choice so the site does not reset every time you open a page.

Name Site Purpose How long it lasts
sonak-systems-theme sonaksystems.com Local storage. Remembers whether you chose light or dark appearance. Until you clear your browser storage
avilocus-theme avilocus.com Local storage. Remembers whether you chose light or dark appearance. Until you clear your browser storage

Neither item identifies you. Each holds a single word, "light" or "dark". Nothing is sent to us, and we cannot read it from our side.

Both are strictly necessary to deliver a feature you have asked for, so neither requires your consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations.

Third-Party Services on Our Pages

Our pages load a small number of files from other providers. These do not place cookies on your device, but the provider does receive a request from your browser, which includes your IP address.

Provider What it does Cookies set
Google Fonts Serves the typefaces used on sonaksystems.com, from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Google receives your IP address as part of the request. None
Vercel Hosts both sites and serves the pages to you. Vercel keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses. We have not enabled Vercel's analytics product on either site. None

Why You Do Not See a Cookie Banner

A consent banner is required when a site stores something on your device that is not strictly necessary. We do not, so there is nothing for you to consent to and we have not put a banner in your way.

If we later add analytics or any other non-essential technology, we will update this page first and ask for your consent before it runs.

Managing What Is Stored

You stay in control of this. Every major browser lets you view and delete cookies and local storage, usually under a setting called "Cookies and site data", "Privacy and security", or "Manage website data".

If you clear the stored appearance preference, nothing breaks. The site simply opens in its default appearance and you can switch it again whenever you like.

Changes to This Policy

We will update this page whenever we change what our sites store on your device, and we will update the "Last updated" date at the top when we do.
